When it comes to zits and acne, there is no one-size-fits-all solution -which often leaves many of us trying dozens of products that may or may not work. It really is trial and error. Having said that, we can confidently say that we really have tried and tested more products than we can possibly remember. A couple stick around -most do not.
If you have sensitive, reactive or acne-prone skin, you know how frustrating it can be to find products that actually work on your skin. It can be scary to even try a new product, fearing it may cause some random rash or break you out. Especially when it comes to acne products. Too many products for pimples cause further redness and irritation. Whether you suffer from congested skin, blackheads or those big mean zits, finding products that are both effective and gentle can be tough.
However, there is one product that we buy time and time again and it’s a random, inexpensive, little-known product we found on a whim. It’s called Margarite Zinc Cream. This product has been a godsend for getting rid of pimples and calming redness post-extraction. One thing few acne products do is calm redness. Margarite Zinc cream not only helps get rid of acne quickly, but it really does keep your skin from getting red.
It comes in a mineral tinted formula and contains a combination of sulfur 4% and zinc oxide 10%, two ingredients we had never seen together before, which peaked our curiosity. And it’s not just for acne. You can use it on various skin problems including rashes, itching, and bug bites. It’s also fragrance-free and contains no parabens, animal ingredients, artificial colors, sulfates, or petrochemicals. One thing is does have is that sulfur smell (naturally), but it’s not overwhelming and it’s well worth the benefits.
We love this cream and it has been a staple of ours for years! Of course, everyone’s skin is different, and we can’t guarantee it will work as wonderfully for you, but the feedback we’ve received on recommending this product has been awesome And for $10, it’s worth a try. Let us know what you think!
