Korean beauty products are known for being ahead of the curve when it comes to cosmetics. They tend to use innovative techniques and sometimes downright bizarre ingredients (like snail slime). Nonetheless, they are fascinating, to say the very least. The latest Korean beauty trend is peel-off makeup; namely semi-permanent lip and eyebrow tints. We have to say we’re pretty excited about these products!
While they take a bit more effort and time, they apparently last for a few days, which is pretty cool if you don’t feel like applying makeup every day. The reviews have been mostly positive for the eyebrow tints, with less enthusiasm for the lip tints, though it may just be a matter of application and willingness to try something new.
Beauty blogger, Tina Young, recently reviewed the Etude eyebrow tint and Wow! lip tint which has already garnered over 5 million views on YouTube. Be ready to see these peel-off tints popping up all over the place. Like BB creams, we’re sure all the major American beauty brands will be jumping on this trend ASAP.
