The 30 Minute No Excuses Power Workout

30aBelieve it or not, I am not a natural gym person. I’ve talked myself out of gym workouts as much as the next person. Because let’s just be honest here -the gym can be pretty darn boring. I’ve always been active, but I prefer sports or outdoor activities, so working out for the sake of working out has never been my natural state. When I moved to NYC I became frustrated with the extreme weather and lack of outdoor activities, so I forced myself to become a “gym person.” I stay on track through a combination of classes including Zumba and Barre. The most important part of sticking to a fitness routine is actually enjoying your workouts.

Through classes, I have been able to enjoy the gym more. However,  time can be an issue and frankly sometimes laziness can get the best of all of us! Those days, the 30 Minute Power Workout will get your tush moving. Really, who doesn’t have 30 minutes to workout each day? It’s those unmotivated days that I tell myself, “I have 30 minutes to take care of myself and stay healthy. Get going! You’ll be glad you did it.” And you’ll be glad you did too. Best of all, you don’t need a gym. You can do this workout from the comfort of your home.

You’ll work all muscle groups in just 30 minutes.  I’ve modeled this after the Beach Body/p90x workout. Enjoy!
