This past Tuesday we got a chance to attend InStyle magazine’s and Single Edition Media’s Summer Social event. As we sipped wine and chatted with fellow influencers, we got a chance to mingle with several fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands. The highlight of the evening was a close intimate look into designer Thierry Mugler fragrances.

Inspired by his mother and looking to the stars in the heavens came the creation of both Angel (1992) and Alien (2005). The creation of the scents were a reflection of his portrayal of women as ethereal, coming from a different realm of existence, hence the names and symbols of Angel and Alien.
New for 2015 is Thierry Mugler’s Angel “New Star,” a stunning gravity-defying 3 dimensional glass bottle with shimmering facets and a complex geometric design that embodies the art of fine glassmaking. Angel New Star is now available at fine department stores for $150 for a 75 ml refillable bottle.
In addition to creating divinely scented, timeless fragrances, Thierry Mugler understands the importance of global impact and sustainability in product creation. When wearers of Angel and Alien perfumes run out, they are able to refill their bottles at ‘The Source.” Thierry Mugler has been refilling its perfume bottles since 1992 inspired by the tradition of 18th century perfume fountains, where royalty and the like would go to get their custom perfume bottles refilled with their choice fragrance. At the time it was considered a luxury service and refillable perfume bottles were treasured.
