Pinterest lovers will be glad to hear that the popular pictorial inspiration site will be partnering with Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Lucky Magazine, Elle, Into the Gloss, Nordstrom, Style.com, Man Repeller, and over 100 more influential brands for a massive Fashion Week hub. The first-ever campaign is in response to Pinterest’s ever-growing fashion community. Currently Pinterest users post more than two million fashion-related pins per day and in July users increased 36% to over 47 million, largely a result of their “massive fashion audience.”
“We know we have millions of pinners that look to Pinterest for fashion inspiration and we know hundreds of brands, designers and insiders use it for the same purpose, and we wanted to help connect those two a little more,” Kate Garlinghouse, Pinterest’s head of community marketing, told WWD. “It’s giving a highly engaging experience to our pinners who are excited about fashion.”
The pins are expected to include “fashion week visuals”, behind-the-scenes shots, and “mood boards.”
The pinning will continue throughout New York, Milan, Paris, and London Fashion Weeks and you can follow all the action at pinterest.com/fashionweek.
We’re excited to see so many amazing designers and influential brands in one place! We’ll be pinning throughout Fashion Week as well. You can find us at www.pinterest.com/stylefoxco
