Our Latest Beauty Fave: Korean Modeling Masks

When it comes to face masks, you can never have too many, right? It’s one of those beauty products that makes a real difference in your skin and that you actually use until it’s gone. We have more face masks than we can count and it’s never money wasted because we always use them from start to finish. Face masks are the perfect way to boost your skin in 10 minutes or less and they always come in handy.

Now, you have probably already tried the wildly popular Korean sheet mask, but the latest craze is the Korean modeling mask. If you thought sheet masks looked freaky, wait until you try a modeling mask. It is literally a rubber mask (with skincare benefits, of course)! These masks are not only effective, but fun to apply. Typically these masks come individually packaged in containers meant for one time use, so you simply mix in some water, apply, leave on for 10-20 minutes and then pull it off.

Just add water, mix, and apply.

Unlike other “peel off” masks, modeling masks do not pull at your skin. The texture is not tight; it’s more like a firm slime, so these masks are great for all skintypes, including sensitive. They come in a variety of formulas such as collagen, gold, charcoal, vitamin c, tea tree, and pearl, so depending on your skincare needs there are plenty of options available.

Like most Korean cosmetics, they’re not easy to find in stores in the U.S., so Amazon is your best bet, though we have seen them floating around Marshall’s and TJ Maxx occasionally.

Have you tried rubber modeling masks? If so, did you like them?
