6 Productivity Apps You Need In Your Life

Do you ever feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day? We feel your pain. If you’re like most busy adults in this  fast paced world, you know how every hour counts. That’s where productivity apps and technology can take your ability to get things done to the next level. Here are a few new apps that’ll help you stay organized and on track.

Trove

Trove keeps you on point throughout the day by sending reminders to respond to important emails and even encourages you to “nudge” people that you haven’t heard back from. It also keeps you connected by tracking your business relationships and reminding you who’s who.

Cisco Sparks

Unable to afford a real assistant? There’s an app for that! Cisco Sparks is a digital assistant that gives you a summary of your day. It provides an overview of what you need to complete for the day by listing tasks, keeping track of your team, and reminding you of meetings, tasks, and to-do lists.

TeamViewer

TeamViewer is super powerful and will help you manage people and projects while keeping you well organized and on schedule. You can host web meetings via audio, text or chat, share files, record conversations, and more. Best of all, it allows you to collaborate with up to 300 people so you’ll have plenty of room for growth.

Strides

Strides is by far one of the best habit forming apps out there. It’s not just about getting through tasks; it’s about changing your actual habits. It keeps you motivated by showing you statistics of your achievements, inspiring you to keep forming better, more productive habits.

ForestApp

ForestApp helps prevent you from wasting time on social media and other unproductive tasks by rewarding you with a digital tree. It may sound odd, but small rewards like this are actually quite effective. It works by allowing you to set a timer and during that period you stick your task. You’re not allowed to check messages, take calls, or visit websites during that period. Once you successfully complete your task undistracted, you grow a digital tree. However, if you fail the tree will die. This really helps you stay on task -trust us!

Buffer

Social media is a necessary evil these days and Buffer makes managing it so much easier by allowing you to create posts and release them at specific times. It will help save you hours of time managing your social media. Plus, it’s simple and straight forward to use.

    Thanks for this article Mandy!

I would also recommend NearMinder, which is the only app to send you reminders based on your proximity to your contacts! With this app you can easily set reminders for things you have to do when meeting people and get notified when these people are nearby. It also works for location-based reminders.
