Drugstore Finds: Our Favorite Multi-tasking Beauty Buys Under $10

We’re not gonna lie -we’re beauty product junkies. Even when we find products we like we continue to buy more out of sheer curiosity. Cosmetics are fun, right? However, there are a handful of products we love and have continued to buy over and over. Not only because they work, but because they’re multi-functional. There’s nothing greater than effective products that can also multi-task! Best of all, these products can be found at your local drugstore/supermarket for under $10.

Derma e Face and Body Wash, Tea Tree and E

This anti-bacterial cleanser really does it all. You can literally put it anywhere -from head to toe! You can even use it for shaving. It contains tea tree oil, vitamin e, and aloe which helps soothe shaving irritation as well as other skin irritations. It’s especially helpful for oily and problem skin; you can even use it as a shampoo for a deep clean! This has been one of our beauty staples for almost a decade. $8-$10

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner ~ Nude

This is a fairly new product that we absolutely adore. You can use it on the waterline to instantly brighten up the eyes. Though this pencil is technically an eyeliner it also works amazing as a concealer! It covers everything and lasts all day. It’s great for brightening up underneath the eyes and covering blemishes. Even if your complexion is darker, you’ll love this pencil for use on the waterline. $4-$5

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment

This product is a one stop shop for banning frizz and adding shine! Use it in the shower or as a leave in treatment overnight. Or use it before blow drying to stop frizz in its tracks. Lastly, you can use it as an after styling treatment to add extra shine. Best of all, this is a dry oil, so it never gets sticky or oily. $5-$8

Ardell Brow & Lash Accelerator Treatment

Between curling, mascara, and makeup removers, our eyelashes can really take a beating. And if you’ve overplucked or just want thicker brows this is your treatment. The scentless clear gel formula contains protein and castor oil to induce hair growth. It also doubles as a great eyebrow setter and clear mascara. For under $5 this is one of beauty’s best kept secrets! $3-$5

Aspirin

Yep, you read that right! Aspirin is one of the best DIY treatments for acne and congested skin. It contains BHA’s, which help exfoliate the skin and unclog pores. Drop about 6 aspirin and mix into a half teaspoon of filtered water and wait for the aspirin to dissolve, then apply to skin. You can also add honey or oatmeal for extra anti-inflammatory properties. Leave on for about 15 minutes, rinse, then say hello to glowing skin! (Be sure you’re not allergic to aspirin before trying this.)

Jojoba Oil

We’ve already sung the praises of Jojoba Oil in our Oil Cleansing Method article. Jojoba oil is one of the best multi-tasking products out there. It’s natural, gentle, acne-busting, great for all skin types, and you can use it anywhere. Whether it’s to moisturize dry elbows, revive parched hair, unclog congested pores or banish ragged cuticles -jojoba oil is one of nature’s greatest products.

 Lipstains

revlon

For long-lasting lipcolor that you can build from sheer to dark, we love Covergirl’s Outlast Lipstain and Revlon’s Just Bitten Balm Stain. Both last hours (if not overnight!), are lightweight, and come in a wide array of flattering colors. For under $10, these stains are a steal!
