Green Matcha Cucumber & Mint Lemonade

If you haven’t heard, green matcha is making a wave in the foodie-sphere. Green matcha is simply green tea leaves pulverized into a super fine powder than can be used in a variety of ways from drinks to savory foods and desserts. Best of all, it’s super healthy for you! It packs a ton of antioxidant power thanks to its high chlorophyll content and also contains the amino acid L-Theanine, which gives you an energy boost and helps speed up metabolism. In other words, green matcha makes the perfect, low-calorie post-workout drink!

1 teaspoon green matcha

4 cucumber slices

1 lemon juiced

1 packet Zing™ Zero Calorie Stevia Sweetener (add more as needed)

12 oz. filtered water

2-4 whole mint leaves (to your preference)

Mix all ingredients together with a spoon (do not use a blender), chill, and drink!

Classic Power Protein

Protein shakes are the classic go-to post-recovery drink. However, a lot of protein drinks can be chalky and unappetizing. The best way to get a truly tasty protein-packed drink is to spice it up yourself. Use a low-sugar or sugar-free whey or plant protein as your base and then add additional ingredients to add sweetness and flavor. Your best bet is use only vanilla flavored proteins -they offer a more mild flavor and variety to add ingredients. Here’s our favorite post-workout protein shake.

2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder

12 oz. filtered water

1/2 banana

1/2 cup of strawberries or blueberries

1 packet Zing™ Zero Calorie Stevia Sweetener (add more as needed)

Ginger Lemon Green Machine

Healthy vegetable drink

Green plant-based smoothies will always reign in nutrition and antioxidants. However, getting green veggie drinks to taste good is a whole other story. This is where you add additional ingredients like ginger, lemon, fruit, and Zing™ Zero Calorie Stevia Sweetener to make it tasty. Also, instead of juicing greens and losing all the valuable fiber, make this drink in a pulverizing blender to get the most benefits from green veggies. This recipe is great for people who don’t want to add too much protein to their post-workout drink.

1 inch of ginger peeled

1/2 lemon peeled, seeds removed

1 cup spinach

1 red apple peeled, seeds, stem, and core removed(do not use green apples, they are too tart.)

2 sticks of celery

1/4 cup parsley

1 packet Zing™ Zero Calorie Stevia Sweetener (add more as needed)

Blend, chill or add ice, and drink!

Turmeric & Ginger Detox

Turmeric is an incredible anti-inflammatory spice and ginger has long been used to fend off colds and infections. These two super ingredients combined pack a powerful immunity punch, perfect for post workout recovery.  We recommend drinking this tonic regularly. It’s incredible!

1 inch ginger peeled
1/2 teaspoon of powdered turmeric
1-2 apples juiced
1 packet Zing™ Zero Calorie Stevia Sweetener
Juice ginger and apple then mix in powdered turmeric and Zing™ Zero Calorie Stevia Sweetener.

Vanilla, Coconut, Almond & Oatmeal

This delicious, hearty shake is a filling meal in itself. If you want a healthy, natural meal replacement after working out, you’ll love this shake.

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

12 oz. coconut milk

1/2 cup raw oats

1/2 cup raw almonds

1 packet Zing™ Zero Calorie Stevia Sweetener

Use a blender to thoroughly blend all ingredients together (it may take a couple rounds to get everything blended) and drink up!
